Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the wimehome.com website, its accounts and chat, and the apps you can download here (RestorePad, Live Translation). By using the website or the apps you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. Account and chat

• The chat requires an account. Use a valid email address and do not share your password — you are responsible for actions taken from your account.
• Spam, insults, threats, illegal content and attempts to hack or overload the website are not allowed in the chat.
• We may block or delete accounts that break these rules. You can delete your account at any time by writing to support@wimehome.com.

2. Downloadable apps

• RestorePad and Live Translation are free. You may download, install and use them on your own devices.
• You may not sell the apps, present them as your own, or distribute modified versions on behalf of WiMe.
• Download the apps only from wimehome.com and verify the SHA-256 checksums published on the product page.
• The apps are not notarised by Apple or signed with a developer certificate, so the system will warn you on first launch. Following the instructions on the product pages to bypass this warning is at your own discretion.

3. Apps are provided "as is"

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors. You use them at your own risk. We recommend keeping backups of important data.

4. Live Translation: translation accuracy

• Speech recognition, translation and AI editing are automatic and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies.
• Do not rely on Live Translation where a mistake could have serious consequences: medical, legal or financial matters, safety-related situations, or official translation.
• You are responsible for what you translate and for respecting the law and the rights of others — including rules on recording conversations and using third-party content.

5. Third-party services and models

• If you enable AI editing in Live Translation via OpenAI, Google Gemini or another external service, text is sent to that service with your API key and processed under its terms and pricing. WiMe does not control and is not responsible for these services.
• The recognition, translation and voice models in the model pack are created by third parties (including OpenAI Whisper, OPUS-MT and Piper) and are distributed under their own licences.
• The website links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content.

6. Web studio services

Website development and other web studio services are provided under a separate agreement that defines the scope, timeline and price. The portfolio on this website is for information only.

7. Intellectual property

The WiMe name and logo, texts, design and apps belong to WiMe. Screenshots of client projects in the portfolio are shown for information only and belong to their owners. Your chat messages remain yours; you allow us to store and process them in order to reply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, WiMe is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, profit or system functionality arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or the apps. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use the website or the apps after changes, you accept the updated terms.
